AI consulting FAQ

Questions people usually ask before booking a call.

If yours isn't here, that's what the call is for, not a reason to wait.

// cost

How much do AI consulting services cost?

It depends on the problem, that's exactly what the free call establishes. We tell you the cost of The Catalyst before any work starts, not after.

// timeline

How long does an engagement take?

The Catalyst is scoped to one bounded problem specifically so it doesn't turn into an open-ended project. Timeline depends on the problem, but it's weeks, not months.

// doesnt work

What if what you build doesn't work?

We scope the problem together up front precisely to avoid this, The Catalyst only starts once we're confident it's solvable. If something isn't landing during the work, we say so rather than quietly shipping it anyway.

// existing tools

Do we have to switch tools, or do you work with what we already use?

We work with what you already use wherever it makes sense. We're not selling a specific AI product, the tooling is whatever actually fits the problem.

// which service

What's the difference between The Catalyst and the other services?

The Catalyst is the starting point for almost everyone, one real problem, start to finish. The others (AI Operating System Setup, Controlled / Private AI Integration, Fractional AI Advisor) are next steps once that first win exists, not alternatives to starting there. See the Offers page for how they fit together.

// fit

Do you only work with agencies?

No. Founder-led service businesses and lean operations teams are just as good a fit as agencies, the common thread is one real, repeated bottleneck, not a specific industry.

// data

What happens to our data?

That's a live conversation on the call, and it's exactly what Controlled / Private AI Integration exists for if your work is more sensitive than average. We don't have a one-size-fits-all answer because the right boundaries depend on what you're actually protecting.

// technical

Do we need technical people on our team?

No. Part of Own It is making sure whoever needs to run the thing day-to-day can actually run it, technical background or not.

Still have a question? That's what the call is for.
